Yoga

 

My First Yoga with Mommy (0-precrawlers)
‘Ohm’ yourself back into fitness! Your baby’s tiny transformations in the first few months will astound you. This class will gently and safely incorporate your tiny tot as active participant using baby massage, soothing chants and yoga poses. Share the journey of motherhood while increasing strength, endurance and overall well- being.

 

Family Yoga (0-adults)
Bond with your family and explore your child’s inner yogi as you balance like a flamingo, stretch into a downward puppy or breathe like a bunny. Storytelling, music, dance, games and play are all seamlessly incorporated into this fun-filled family yoga time. Be ready to stretch your arms, legs and imagination while enhancing your family’s body awareness.

 

Kid Karma (12-18 months)
Stretch your toddler’s arms, legs and imagination while enhancing her body awareness and balance. Classes begin with invigoration and end with relaxation, teaching children how to calm their minds, bodies and spirits.

 

Kid Karma (18-24 months)
A little belly breathing goes a long way when you’ve lost that lovely second nap. Unroll your yoga mat and join in while we awaken the senses and energize the spirit while calming your little one’s body.

 

Yogalini 2 (2-3 years)
Harness the powers of the natural world through yoga!” You and your little one will hiss like a cobra, bark in downward dog and flap your butterfly wings, all while building body awareness, enhancing coordination and encouraging self-expression.

 

Yogalini 3 (3-5 years)
Get ready, get centered, go! Yoga provides the movement and stimulus kids crave, plus self-control, concentration and calm. Kids release energy and practice yoga in small groups that will improve their strength, flexibility and coordination.

Fitness

 

Babies In Motion 1 (12-18 months)
And they’re off! We’ll climb, cruise, walk and dance to music and beats as toddlers discover the world around them. They’ll hone their physical mobility and coordination as they take those first tentative steps.

 

Babies In Motion 2 (18-24 months)
Run, jump and climb just like in gym class, except better! Let your little one explore sports skills and expend energy with balls, tunnels, parachutes, obstacles and much more.

 

Romp ‘n’ Roll 2 (2-3 years)
Encourage a life-long love for fun and fitness with friends. Romp ‘n’ Roll lets your little one explore sports skills, jump, roll, giggle, march, laugh and wiggle through our action-filled activities and obstacles. Our tumbling room is completely padded with tons of soft play structures so kids can romp and explore to their heart’s content.

Dance

 

Groove and Grow (2-3 years)
Discover the star in your child! Provide an essential foundation for toddler’s future ballet and dance expressions. This class combines creativity and imagination with age appropriate ballet terminology, exercise and discipline. Further growth in memory and coordination will develop a graceful strength in your child.

 

Prima Ballerina (3-5 years)
Are your little ones’ hearts set on ballet? Do they love to dance, twirl and float – unconscious they are gaining in balance, strength, and coordination? This class takes your prima ballerina on a delightful journey filled with ballet steps, classical music and easy-to-learn dance routines. Don’t forget to bring ballet slippers!

Boogie Woogie (3-5 years)
Awaken your child's creative expression through movement, musicality and imagination. An introduction to basic stepping, dance positions and playful activities will increase motor skills, rhythm recognition, physical well-being and a love of dance!

Language

Sing, Sign and Play Along (Baby Signs with Keiki’s Corner) (3-18 months)
Babies learn to communicate well before they can speak. Learn basic American Sign Language signs and signing techniques to share with your baby as his coordination and cognition increases during the first year. You can bond with your baby using simple interactive signs that help him express his earliest needs and desires.

 

Sing, Sign and Play Along 1 (Baby Signs with Keiki’s Corner) (12-18 months)
Signing can build trust and reduce frustration for your child (and for you!) as she approaches the “terrible twos”! Add to your child's sign language vocabulary, increase her physical dexterity and exercise her cognitive ability to learn forms of communication.

 

Spanish/French Uno (18-24 months)
Spanish/French Dos (2-3 years)
A toddler’s vocabulary grows exponentially during his first few years. Lay the foundation for a second language through exposure to bilingual songs and games!

 

Spanish/French Tres (3-5 years)
Spanish/French Quattro (4-5 years)
Absorbing a second language enhances long-term language skills and develops more neural connections, supporting overall intelligence development. Take advantage of this special window of opportunity early!

Fingerpaint Follies (18-24 months)
Let your toddler discover his inner Picasso. We supply the paint, crayons, dough, smocks and plenty of interactive inspiration. Simply bring your little one and leave with a fresh refrigerator art masterpiece each week.

 

Mini Matisse 2 (2-3 years)
Set your kids free to smear, squeeze, splatter and create their own masterpieces. Allow them to explore the sensory media of paints, dough, textile bins, crayons and markers, among others. Our art classes are designed for your little ones to stimulate works of art that will be cherished for a lifetime!

Junior Naturalists (2-3 years)
Meet the Animals, Create Art & Make Science Come Alive
We've teamed up with Tree Frog Treks - a Best of the Bay nature education program for kids - to introduce kids to live animals, creative science and early literacy. We explore science and practice critical thinking through hands-on experiments and art projects and inspire a love of nature and learning through contact with our team of kid-friendly animal ambassadors.

Music
 

Circle Time with Susan Appe (0-5 years)
Opportunities to make music are all around us. Your family and children will enjoy the stimulation of song, music, games, movement, bubbles, puppets, musical instruments and, of course, other little ones! Circle time allows you and your child to learn new songs and games while achieving important developmental milestones. This is the perfect class to bring music into your home and your child's everyday life.

 

Music Minor 2 (2-3 years)
Moving to the music is the name of the game in this spirited music class! Rhymes and songs bring out your child's voice while she boogies to the beats and rhythms of percussion instruments. Your child's natural rhythm and musical curiosity are the perfect foundation for a lifetime love of music!

 

Music Major 3 (3-5 years)
Filled with games, songs and dances from all over the world, this music class explores melodies, the beginnings of music composition, echoing patterns, soloing and ensemble playing. Story books will come to life with music, puppets, movement and acting. Your little one’s speech skills will soar as she belts out her favorite new songs!

Mini Mozart 4 (4-5 years)
Exploring world music, Jazz and Rock n' Roll has never been so fun with group song writing, marching band, musical improvisation and making our own musical instruments! We will conduct an orchestra, look into the science behind sound, play large and small drums and sing in rounds. As your child’s ears become tuned to pitch and rhythmic styles from around the globe.

Village (Kindermusik with Tamra Paselk) (0-12 months)
Many parents are under the impression that a newborn is too young to be part of a music class. Kindermusik has incorporated the most recent research of early childhood development specialists in the creation of a curriculum for the youngest singers and musicians. Purposeful musical activities stimulate cognitive, lingual, social, emotional as well as physical developments that all begin in the very first months of a child's life. 

 

Our Time (Kindermusik with Tamra Paselk) (12-24 months)
The child who is ready to move from Village into Our Time demonstrates improved walking and motor skills, a longer attention span, an ability to follow simple directions and a rapidly developing vocabulary. Each activity in the Our Time curriculum encourages creativity, exploration, language, movement and social development through music with the parent or caregiver's direct involvement.

 

Cooking

 

Pasketti 2 (2-3 years)
Take a culinary adventure with us and create your own food! Donned in kid-size aprons and chef hats, your little one will explore foods, traditions and edible science at its best.  Our cooks will experience the culinary world around them using all five senses as they smell, stir, mix, roll and prepare & taste their delectable creations. This class will inspire a life long love of food while learning the importance of simple, tasty and healthy meals.

Lights, Motion, Rhythm and Sounds (0-prewalkers)
This class is full of wonderful surprises for your infant and crawler. As your little one laughs, gurgles and giggles, our infant/crawler furnished environment will allow them to explore their every changing world through their sensory and tactile senses. This class will provide tools to help you as parents to become more effective play pals to support your babies’ developmental milestones.
